The Coffee Splash Promo (Designer Albab Afif)

It was just past dawn. The designer was now working with warmth in mind. The goal: to create a promo for “Cafe Aroma”’s grand opening that would make viewers almost smell the coffee. The design was crafted entirely in Photoshop, blending coffee’s color, flavor, and offers seamlessly. The designer began with a warm brown and cream textured background, evoking the fresh ambiance of coffee. At the top, the headline “GRAND OPENING OF CAFE AROMA” was placed. Next came the magic of the splash. Using stock images of coffee beans and spilled liquid coffee, the designer carefully masked and placed them to appear dynamic and alive—as if the coffee were splashing out in motion. At the center, the main attraction—a cup of coffee surrounded by coffee beans atop a burlap sack. The brightness and depth of these elements were carefully enhanced using color curves and saturation adjustments. The most important part—the offer: “BUY 1 COFFEE GET 1 FREE.” To highlight it, two arrow icons were added, directing the viewer’s attention. Below, “FIRST WEEK ONLY!” was written in bold red, emphasizing urgency. At the bottom, location icons, the address (123 MAIN STREET, FARIDPUR), and phone number were added. A melting chocolate texture was included to give a sweet finishing touch to the design. Each element was meticulously arranged in separate Photoshop layers. This design was more than an advertisement; it was a warm invitation from the designer, signaling to customers: fresh coffee and handmade sweets are waiting just for you.
